Allen College is a non-profit, private college offering health sciences and nursing programs. Philanthropic dollars were used to build Gerard Hall, Barrett Forum, and Winter Hall on the Allen College campus and hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded to our students each year thanks to our generous donors.

With a mission to strengthen the programs, services, and community relationships of the UnityPoint Health – Waterloo Region (Allen Health System), the Allen Foundation touches the lives of many by supporting Allen Hospital, Allen College and area affiliates.

We invite you to explore a variety of ways to give including cash, pledges, securities, life insurance, and real estate. Many contributors multiply their support by taking advantage of employers’ matching gifts program. Long-range estate and financial planning offer the opportunity for you to make substantial contributions while benefiting your own financial status. Bequests and trusts continue to be critical to the Foundation’s support. Finally, a memorial gift is a meaningful way to recognize the memory of a loved one, be it a family member, friend, or colleague. Honorary gifts make sure a person's life and accomplishments are not forgotten, and the Allen Foundation will notify the honoree or next of kin should you choose to designate a memorial gift.

All gifts to the Allen Foundation are tax deductible. Your gifts will directly support Allen College and its students. Your gifts make a difference and help Allen College continue to be a leader in healthcare education.
